I would like to reduce the overall weight of my Meg for NDC diving with the girlfriend. Not being the biggest bloke in the world the meg is a bit of a bloody sherman tank to take onto a recreational diveboat for some shallow water playing, ( Please dont tell me to take a single 12ltr
) so:
can anyone tell me?
If I purchased from ISC a mini meg plennum, STA, and mini meg scrubber...and I bolted 2 ltr bottles to the unit instead of 3ltrs how would that effect the weight I would need to carry?
IE: If my undersuit and drysuit remain constants, what weight if any would need to be added or subtracted to my kit configuration?
Bottom line is this....if I part with all the green and cracklies would this be a waste of time if all I did was reduce the kits physical size and not reduce the weight due to having to add more lead.
If anyone has been down this rocky road or has experience in this I would love to take advice.
