What you do is curve the metal D of th cam band to more closely follow the curve of the cylinder. Snoopy loops round the cylinders will probably help too and stop any scratching going on
Thats the general idea, hence the rubberising, etc. Can you get cam bands that are bendable to do that? Hopefully there'll be something at the diveshow... I need to find something to make up some snoopy loops from, but they are on the agenda as well.
