Very familiar with that rig... very nice to use as an O2 rebreather. Had an IDA-71. Need to ditch the DSV though. Not a good apples to apples comparison with a Lar V even if Dave said he perferred it to his Lar V. Today he has neither.

The Lar V is a very nice mil-spec unit. There is quality in a Lar V that is non existent in newer rebreathers and the fact that they are still used today says a lot.

But to each his own.
