Re: HMS VICTORIA in Lebanon - just got back

Here are some of the pictures. please keep in mind that pictures were taken by Per Bjorn Ragvag and Pim Van Derhorst. the cameras that were used were incredibly simple and cheap housings rated to 40m...

I guess somebody at the factory made a mistake and forgot to put the "1" in front of "40"...

we were all expecting to hear this "boom" but it never came...

DIRrebreather also experiments on housing depth rating, so if you have a camera, please do not hesitate to let us test it for you

here are the megs ready on the boat....

us on the boat with Christian Francis on the wheel. Haidar was taking the picture...notice the sea how calm it became for us.

The whole DIRrebreather team with the megs. this i think is a great pic. on front row is Pim Van Derhorst, second row from left is Henrik Enckell, Cedric Verdier and me, and last row from left is Christian Francis, discoverer of HMS Victoria and manager of Lebanon Divers and Per Bjorn Ragvag.

Per Bjorn Ragvag around 100m, "the shallows" as others have said. Notice how the ship is standing vertical next to him...

DSCN2522.JPG

2 VR3s, suunto vytec in gauge mode, V-planner tables. i guess one can arguably say that it was well planned...

hope you enjoy it folks.

comments are welcomed.
