It was real fun meeting Adrianne, John, Steve, and Richie. I didnt have the chance to dive with them as I was with a OC friend, but it was good to meet you guys.
This was a great write up, thanks.
Q: How do you get your picture to come out so clear, mine always have alot of the particles floating around?
Attached is a pix of a milling machine the machine shop in the Spiegel, and me inside the Eagle.

Hey Terry - it was good to meet you and Scott, as well ... didn't mean to inadvertently leave you out of the honorable mentions.

For the rest of the readers, Terry was helping to hold off the KISS onslaught by being the sole Hammerhead CCR diver on the trip.
As far as the backscatter in shots when there is a lot of particulate in the water, in addition to the angle of the strobes like Adrianne

mentioned you also want to have the strobes themselves as far away from the lens as possible. That's why you see people with ridiculously long strobe arms - this keeps the light from reflecting off of the particles straight back into the lens. Generally, the more expensive the camera system, the further away the lighting gets from the lens. Point-and-shoot cameras with onboard strobes are almost worthless in anything other than gin clear water.
Hope to see you in the water again soon.
