Try -4 in salt water !
Keep unit out of the cold as long as possible pre breathe in the car or inside boat cabin , pre breathe at least 5mins , use 1st stages with cold kits, 80% alcohol kits work well. check lubricant specifications some go hard at minus , this makes o rings leak.
Cover screens with wooley sock, remove in water .
FFM mask nice or use goose/ duck fat around lips and exsposed skin.
Check manufactorers adivce on scrubber duration. carry two stages,of bailout gas.
This is what i learnt this winter on my sports kiss.
My coldest dive this year was 0 in water -50 with wind chill on surface.
This year in Norway the winter wasnt the coldest.
This is only what ive found so far, looking forward to learn more next year.
