I dive with my Optima's Hammerhead Handsets (Buh) set to 25/85 and my VR3 (VPM-B/E) set to "0" Conservatism. On low to moderate durations dives, these setting are somewhat equivalent, with the VR3 requiring longer deco obligation the longer the dive. I always attempt to clear both computers before leaving the water, as I am usually not in a big hurry; however, on longer dives, I have sometimes had to violate the VR3, because the deco obligation it displays appears to be unreasonable compared to the Hammerhead's deco obligation, as well at that of other divers in the water with me at the time.
