I realize that most people on this forum don't meet the requirements (we are all old farts)
. But this program is truely special. If you know young people that are interested in a diving carier, I can only recommend to have them watch the interview or go to the website of OWU-SS (
http://www.owuscholarship.org/).
This program is not very well known in Europa. This could be different in the US. I don't know. Anyway, last year they only had 11 kandidates for Europe. Elvin said "We prefer quality above quantity"
. However, that does mean that people who register have a serious chance to be chosen. They are also thinking about a fourth scholarship for Asia.
BTW. We are not affiliated in any way with this non-profit organisation. We just like what they try to do, helping young people with a carier in diving.
