Re: Haskel Mini Booster Set Up - Article

I have the same set up & was interested to see the suggested IP for the drive gas at 130PSI - what fill pressure do you get with this setting? I started out with mine at 140PSI, but found it stalled below my target fill pressure of 200 bar & I now have it set to 150PSI IP & have no problems.

Although the mechanical advantage of the booster is 25:1, practically it is less than that - maybe closer to 20:1 & therefore needing a higher IP on the drive side. Anyone else have this experience?

Great article though & thanks for sharing it.

Originally when I got a tech from Haskel on the phone he suggested an IP of 130, but I've been running at about 145 lately. Getting a little higher boost that way. I can get up to a bit over 240 Bar with high supply gas & high drive gas pressures.
