I bought 4 in early Feb this year - all were November or December 07. I'd be reluctant to accept anything older than 3 months. I'm happy to tell you where I got mine from (though they are APD cells). FWIW, when I ordered cells from the same place last year, I got them in the same month as they were date coded.
I'd send yours back. Means Swanage is an issue - does Peter S have any cells he can lend you?
