Re: Solenoid Stuck Open??????

[quote=mattmexico;178369]yo

Having a solenoid not working due to a low battery voltage does in my opinion not really constitute to a solenoid closed failure issue but a battery or potential procedure problem while starting a dive with low battery voltage. A solenoid closed failure would be in my mind happening with good batteries but the solenoid decides to take a crap./quote]

Hey Matt

I can see your point, but from a diver response point of view a low battery, corroded contacts or crud jammed in the valve to cause a failed closed solenoid are all the same. Well for a Meg diver anyway. I know the Inspos and Evos can have the secondary controller take over the firing of the solenoid.

I guess it depends on the point of view the poll was coming from, but with all possible points of view potentially to consider, I prefer to take the one that applies to all, as in how to solve it.

Cheers

Seb
