Ok, Stupid question time.

Can I get some recomendations from the old hats..... SCR's seem to be plentiful and less expensive to start with. Is this a good place start, to learn the in's and out of rebreathers? Then progress to CCr's after a time or....... should I start with something, I know that I am going to end up with..... My interest is extended range wreck diving so I know that a recreational rebreather will not fit my needs for long. I like the concept of an upgradeable MCCR like rEvo or COPIS but I dont want to get over my head since I am new. I know you get these questions all the time, so thanks for your tolerance.
