hi sam,

I don't know where you live in the uk but I'd like to inform you that easyjet has many daily flights with cheap fares between bristol and geneva.
I have to look for a plane Genève/Bruxelles. Genève airport website says : "diving tanks OK if empty". EasyJet website say "diving tank forbiden". I phone to EasyJet, not "easy" to have a human, but when I found one she said me "diving tanks forbiden". Even enmpty? "Diving tanks forbiden!"
So if you want to take EasyJet, be sure you can...
There is an other airport closer my house, Lyon airport (Satolas). I've try Air France. Air France website says : "diving tanks forbidden". I phone to Air France (there is a little more human than in EasyJet). A women said me : there is a possibility for "diving equipment". That need to declare it, tanks are permited if emptry and regulators not fited. Max weight of the equipement is 20 kg (not included the ordinary free 20 kg, so total permited is 40 kg), price is 20 (twenty) euro one way (Lyon Bruxelles).
I think I'll take this solution.
