I would be nice to have a standard unit such as the UK; like my travels last year to Plymouth I recall getting off a train and asking a taxi driver how many kilometers it was to town and he promptly confused me with miles? Further complicating maters was renting a car and driving on the wrong side of the road... Anyone can chime in with the proper math anytime now, but the rough equivalent when comparing the Faber 2 liter 232 bar cylinders is 13 cu. ft at 2640 psi, and the 3 liter 232 bar cylinder is 19 cu. ft at 2640. I much prefer the measurement of volume x pressure bar, but have to work with what we are given in the states till things change. As I recall it was in my 3rd or 4th grade of primary school that our country was switching to the metric system. ron Quote: (Originally Posted by schford)
I get confused with American sizing - so how do new cylinders compare in gas volume stored to 3l 232 bar steels - which I use.
