What sensor is the display using?
Yes the unit is sleek looking, how does it feel in the water, meaning what type of harness are you diving the unit with?

Hey there deep thought!
The Submatix has 3 units and they are working on a fourth unit. The current available units are the SCR 100 ST, SCR 100 XT and the CCR 100 SMS. The SCR 100 ST is a CE approved SCR. It has two nitrox cylinders; the two first stages are connected by a low pressure "bridge". What this means is the gas from the two cylinders is flowing into the loop. This unit is not meant to have different nitrox mixes in the cylinders, the same mix in both cylinders. There is a bail out reg off the cylinder, and like a KISS unit this bailout reg is for a couple sanity breaths only while you deploy your off board bailout. This unit is a mass flow SCR. Then the SCR 100 XT is like the azimuth. It has two nitrox cylinders with different mixes in them. The mixes are controlled by a gas flow "block" allowing the diver to have either two different bottom mixes for a multi level dive or a more enriched mix in one cylinder to increase off gassing at shallower depths. This unit is also a mass flow SCR. Finally the CCR 100 SMS, is a manual fully closed circuit rebreather. Like the KISS it has a constant flow of O2 into the loop which can be preset by the diver to match their metabolic rate. It also has an O2 add valve for adjusting the PO2. Currently the unit only has one PPO2 sensor which the manufacture is going to offer a three sensor / display unit soon. The units are very sleek looking. Another nice feature is all units can be upgraded to a CCR very easily. The manufacture offers an upgrade kit. All you need to do is install the "blanking plug" on the O2 reg, add the PPO2 displays (if not already installed) and change some of the hose routing, and presto a CCR!!! Great idea for those who feel they need to do SCR before moving to CCR (why? I have no idea!!!)
The fourth rebreather they are working on but is not available yet is a CCR with a completely separate BOB (bail out rebreather) all in one. They say this new CCR will be slightly bigger but not much. I look forward to this!
Hope this helps! I have a SCR 100 ST which will be a CCR 100 SMS very very soon! If you want to see one send me a PM.
