Personally, I made up one 3x9V pigtail and one of the spot welders... next thing you know I had 10 alkaline and lithium battery packs ready in a few hours of idle time... and believe you me... I'm an IT geek, I have zero real world mechanical skills.

have you actually used the 3x9V? how long do they last untill a significan drop?
