Re: Laser corrective eye surgey and diving?

I had my eyeballs done about 4 years ago.

I did it mostly for surface vision, but also to get rid of the prescription lenses in my mask. Hard to borrow a spare mask if you need a script in it!

I had a procedure done called "mini mono vision" they did one eye for distance and the other for near. It took about 2 weeks for my eyes to become fully adjusted (and my brain to recognize the changes).

It was 4 weeks to my checkup and then OK'ed to dive.

I would not hesitate to do it again and tell anyone that wears glasses that they should look into it themselves.

In the last year I have been needing to use reading glasses. The doc tells me this is my age and I needed them 12 years ago too.
