ardhill is an unknown quantity at this point
I, like many OC divers have a 15cm/6inch HP hose with a sharp 180 degree bend in it, for months, and months, and months on my stage tanks.

I also stow my LP reg hose down the side of the stage tank like many others, with a sharp 180 degree bend in the hose. As an OC diver, this LP hose is regularly removed from it's storage place when I hit deco stops, and thus straightening the bend for the duration of that deco mix on that dive. The hose is then re-stowed with a 180 degree bend. So, bending, straightening and bending again in cold unforgiving water.

I have never had a problem at any of those bend points. Any hose failures I have seen have all been at the joint.
