Re: Armadillo Sidemount Bungees

Just back from diving today with the set-up I described last time with the stage strap and the top snap shortened up close to the tank valve and the bottom held in place with a cam band and the bungees shortened up and a Ring on the bungee.

I was diving with 2 x S95 stages, both right hand valves.

After placing the tanks on the bench beside you it was simply a matter of clipping them on to the bottom rail and then I put them on the top bungee ring. It was a piece of cake and so much easier than before!!! I had no trouble walking down the steps and getting in with them in place.

Trim was just great and taking them off when getting back on the boat was just as easy as it is with the traditional D ring mounting.

All up it's a great mod!! If you're considering going to a sidemount system or having trouble with your existing set up, try this it works beautifully.

I hope to get some pics of todays dive and will pop them up later if anyone would like.

Regards,

Lance
