hello Wael,

thanks for the info on the booster. i am dissapointed from the Cyprus deWalt dealer. he was a good and helpful guy, but did not have any of the compressors giving out more than 8 bar.

there is no demand for those you see, as he said. but he promised to enquiry and let me know by Tuesday. we may have to import from Germany as they have the 220V there. but he did mention something like " its going to be very expensive" and i was like

i told him i found it on the net for around 370 USD....but they are 120V...(ok, i didn't tell him the last bit)

i shall let you know. i somehow fell inlove with that D55145 compressor
Granted I'm in Canada, and I'm using the Jetsam Baby Booster, but it too requires around 150 psi drive gas. I bought the Dewalt D55141 last summer and it has been working like a charm.

My gas fill set-up is much like you describe. I have one 80cf tank of "shop air" that I use to top up the diluent bottle as well as my suit gas, and one 80cf that I fill with O2 from my main K bottles and use for convenience. Filling an 80cf tank with shop air to act as top-up gas is pretty inexpensive (compared to using an 80cf as drive gas) and lasts a good while.

Then I found a sweet deal on an Alkin W31 compressor, and now I have a spare 80cf bailout bottle.

Cheers,

-S
