| Equipment, camera settings etc Thanks everyone. Sorry for not replying right away, i for some reason can not get on Rebreather World from work.
The pics were taken on our New Year's trip. I am pretty amazed how they turned out myself, considering it was out first time in Florida (all previous cave experience was Mexico) and i had no clue what to expect around each corner. So, we moved slowly, studied the cave, picked the best angles. Would not be possible w/o rebreathers.
Equipment was D200 in Aquatica housing with Nikkor 10.5 fisheye lens. Lighting - 2 strobes on camera with bouyancy arms so the whole system is neutral in the water and one or two slaved strobes (depending on what worked and conditions). All strobes are Ikelites 200 (old red ones)
All setting manual, including strobes and slaved strobes. Aperture and shutter speeds varied all over the place depending on the effect one of us wanted to get (on these long dives we carry one camera system and flip back and forth between being photographer and model).
Post produciton amounted to changing the white balance to match the strobe light output (5500K i believe) as it produced the most natural looking photos and usual sharpening while down-sizing photos. Some of the pics were cropped as well to eliminate dead spaces.
Regards,
