| Re: mini sport booster - can it be driven with higher than 10bar? Hi Outlaw,
The Haskel as mentioned has a maximum drive input of 10-11bar. After this it just vents from the over pressure valve, so no point trying to drive it harder. You could drive it from a HP shop compressor, but then you would need to regulate the flow and the cost of running a HP compressor to drive Haskel is a little silly.
Wael, i dont think the compressor you have ordered will be suitable for drive gas. As i mentioned before in other post you really want AS A MINIMUM 2-2.5HP compressor with a 50ltr tank and you want to be able to adjust the cut off and on. If the tank is any smaller(50lt MIN!!) then the tank will empty VERY quickly and you will be running strait from the compressor.
With a 2HP compressor and a 50lt tank once adjusted correctly and driving the Haskel to pump around 5bar/min of 100% O2(gas blender standard) your compressor will be running most of the time to keep up with drive gas consumtion. Any smalller and the compressor will have to run non stop and may not even be able to keep up with the HUNGRY Haskel.
Cheers
John
