Screws aren't whacked in, they are screwed in. Nails are hammered in. Road surfaces are compacted with a 'Wacker'. The only thing that is whacked is a piece of malfunctioning or recalcitrant equipment. Or dentists that take the mickey out of engineers...

hmm bolt vs screw - cant really help him there, i am only using screws for my patients as they come in nice self tapping, self advancing designs, so i can screw quicker as i need dosh and time for diving
