Spyros, I know what you mean and that's the main reason why I decided to get a compressor to drive gas and I have actually found the compressor even cheaper than buying a tank (As I bought it for 110 Euros, while 20 liters tank costs about 330 euros). I don't know what exactly would be effected if someone would higher up the drive gas pressure as it didn't say anywhere on the spec. It just says that minimum should be 7 bars. Did you have any problems with the original pressure guage that came with the booster?

colinicky, I have ordered a MEEC oil-free 10 bars compressor with 16 liters tank. I'm uploading the picture of it here.
