Some ****** is trying to turn people against me that I respect.
I know what its all about and lets say it is personal.

Please let me translate for you (tread is about CCR, DIR and the ususal crap) It was written more than 18 moths ago...

I wrote
That guy is a clown (Mike) that I dont believe have the right attitude for CCR diving.
He did his Boris course in the UK ..then went to the Red Sea for a live aboard and then did 200m in a cave in Thailand on a rebreather he was certified on for 2 weeks.
Maybe DIR is a way he can apply on his diving...It might be the answer for him.

So why did I write this?
I wrote it on a forum before I knew Mike even a little bit. I was told he was a beginner that did a Boris course and and then went to 200m in Sra Kaew.
I thought that was rather stupid and put that in the post. I was wrong and I was missinformed greatly.
I have friends that used to dive with Mike at times out of KL and Singapore and they corrected me.
Anyhow I should not have put my nose where it did not belong but that is a curse that forums on internet put on most of us sometimes.
A friend of mine died on CCR and I get mad when people dive way over their head with out proper training and experience. Now this was not the case it turned out.
I have the highest respect for Mikes experience and knowledge as I am sure he know by now. Why else would I ask him for advice on po2 choices sub 100m and asking if he would like to join us on deep expeditions?
This makes me look like a ass and I guess I just have to chew it up like a man an say I was an missinformed idiot.
Dont write stuff on the net you might regret. Note to self!

I dare the person that started this shit storm to come to me with the problems they might have. Try to be a man about it and not a snitching little girl.
I dont like to do my dirty laundry on forums any more ( i have learned from mine and others mistakes)

regards
Roger Ingebo

Pooh! - I was hoping it would be something juicier!

I think its hard to argue that diving to 200m (191m) isnt a really stupid thing to do anyway regardless of background !!

If it did make you look a bit buttock-esq I think your above post more than restores your form

Trust me Ive been called far worse with some justification.

thats the problem with the net, once written its there for eternity...for most of us

Cheers.
