Re: What setpoint for 100m+ diving do you use?

1.3 for all decent from 40m down to 100m+ (ADV firing keeps loop at a nice safe po2 for decent, also good switching at 40m as it allows me to spike setpiont by just holding my breath for a few meters, so when i hit bottom i am ready and away with no messing about), all the bottom phase of the dive and ascent upto 6m i continue 1.3.

For the last 30-40mins @ 6m i rank it upto 1.4. I only do it for hte last part of deco as i find on big dives the 1st half hour or so at 6m i am off gassing that much into the CCR lungs/loop, with the soliniod firing to maintain SP the lungs soon fill and need emptying to maintain min volume. When the SP is being maintained steadily (not rapid fluctuations) and the lungs are holdng a nice steady volume this is when i switch up to 1.4.
