The real reason the tests were abandoned has nothing to do with animal welfare. I have it on good authority that the goats were sacked pending an investigation into an accusation that they lied on their application forms. The job spec specified 'non-smokers need only apply' and a couple of them were caught sneaking a fag with the beagles from the lab next door. |
