Hey all,
I've been interested in learning more about rebreathers for some time and eventually joined the site
I don't own any rebreathers currently but i have an interest in SCR as well as CCR and i hope i'll find some info on the forums!
The ability to extend bottom time in recreational ranges (scr for this i presume), cost benefits as well as comfort and silent diving certainly appeal to me and i look forward to learning as much as i can!

Steve Welcome aboard, Good to see another ozy sign up Rebreather World. Get your self up to Oztek Sydney in 2009, everyone will be there, that the place to see all the units on display and pick everyones brains for info and a good deal on a CCR. thats right hey chriso. plus its great to put a face to everyone you talk to on RBW in Aus.

I enjoy my ccr for 50m plus because I'm alway the one who pulls the anchor out of the wreck at end of the dive. Now I dont stress about how much time I got to get out of there. Its also going to be nice not to see 250 dollars of Helium go up in bubbles in 20 mins if one uses 2x 12lts Oc tanks for 75m dive. Now it should cost about $30 for the helium use each dive.

Tassie must put it on my list of diving sites to do. but need new dry suit first.
