Hello divers,

My 20 years old daughter, Marine, has to write a paper in Chemical Engineering and she chose to explain the chemistry in rebreathers. I don't know why ? So she is looking for details on the intimate reactions that occur in the oxygen cells (redox between electrodes, role of the KOH or weak acid electrolyte, ... ) and in the sofnolime. Any link of enginer level ?

Thank you.

Stephane.

Hi

Open access (for free) links to interesting science and engineering publications can be a bit tricky. But why not suggesting spending some time searching with relevant key words at: Rubicon Research Repository: Home

If she is using a computer at a University or similar I'm sure they have access to some library function that will enable wide searches of other publications that could be of interest.

You will find way too much information...perhaps not exactly what you ask for but there is definately enough and a lot more to choose from if the subject of the report is fairly free.

I don't feel like fishing out any detailed online links since there is too big a risk I will get stuck spending way too much time on some findings on the way that I missed.

But if you guys feel like it, send a draft of the report to me once its ready for a few comments, perhaps both will benefit from it. If its in French I most certainly will ;-) Struggle to keep from forgetting too much of it, especially technical French.
