  • If the current BOV is neutral u/w, there is no jaw fatigue u/w
  • Lighter BOV (pos) will actually require more effort to retain in mouth - or more hose weight
  • Drag (from larger area) will increase jaw fatigue - independent of scootering or not
Hey Deco, Thanks for pointing that out again....I must not have been as concise in my reply the first time as I should have......On to a more detailed reply....
  1. YES, I totally agree but have you ever sat on the boat on the loop waiting to get into the water when the boat captain keeps changing is mind on the spot or they are having trouble picking up the mooring line.....
  2. YES, but you have to have it weighted correctly....The Golem Gear weighted rings work a treat and you can get the loop weighted just right.
  3. Possibly, I don't fin around so fast that the drag is a real issue. I tend to go for a steady finning style requiring minimum effort but if you like to thrash around like a shark and are in a hurry then you will definately notice the difference and if you're scootering I am sure the 1/2 a square inch less surface area is going to make a huge difference.
I'm glad we got that sorted.......

Lance
