Re: VR3 faulty "dive mode" on the surface

Guys
I have a peculiar problem with my wife's VR3. We bought 2 VR3s late last year and did about 12 dives with them up to know. However, on the last dive trip her comp worked fine for the first 2 dives. After this (over night) the comp "thought" it was diving and went into dive mode between depths of 15 and 350m!!!! I had to remove the battery to hard reset the damn thing. It was fine for one dive and did exactly the same thing, even a week after we got home. And yes I did soak it in water to try to get out any salt residue.

Anybody else experienced this, or know a solution????

I would really appreciate any help/comments
This is a problem with the intersema sensor (other DC manufacturers have the same problems with the sensor).. Send it back to Delta P... There is a good chance that the sensor is beginning to leak.. however it MIGHT be a small blockage on the sensor.. take a flash light and shine it in the hole (back of dc) and look for debris.. The only way to clean it is to take the computer apart and unmount the sensor..
