Just wanted to add my two cents... I dive the Pensacola/Pamana City area for most of my diving. As I understand it, in Florida waters it's illegal to spearfish with a Rebreather. Once you get beyond state waters it's open season. I've never heard it's illegal to have RB's and spearguns on the same boat. That's just crazy. I have heard tales of the fish police inspecting catches at the dock, though I have never been stopped. Even so, with several divers and only one on a RB there's no way they could prove the fish was shot using a RB. I would have to agree with Dave that photographers would certainly be exempt from any fishing restrictions. Hope this helps. FD
