This mix will work for both diluent as well as bailout and gives a great END. You will just remember more of a dive and have a clearer head when the shit his the fan...
A mix like that should be part of Mod1. There isn't really much to know about Helium so the theory can't be a showstopper.
In terms of the program I's say start with air up to 20m and take the He on the last couple of dives that go to whatever the instructor wants to do and when he feels the student can hold the safetystop. (And possibly a few pyle stops?)
I do it myself now. What I really wanted was max 40 with trimix. Now I have ANDI L2 but I get my He fills based on a IANTD adv. recreational trimix card. That course BTW was taken on the Sport Kiss.
Where that leaves me in terms of options when I go to the red sea I don't know. I guess insurance could become a problem then (it is not here) but then I guess its even shallower, so be it...
