I just think it's odd that the price for a Canadian product sold worldwide is in US$.

I know the € has been fairly high, so $ products are supposed to be cheaper to buy ... instead there is a 25% (computer) to 50% (software) price increase.

My price goes up quite a lot. Add shipping, insurance, customs (15%) and sales tax 0n it all (19%) and the Shearwater is priced out of reach, for me at this time at least.

Just the Shearwater Pursuit and HUD would add up to around $3300, plus whatever the Sport Kiss connector, shipping and handling costs, but very close as much as my rebreather itself cost me. Far from making sense, at least to me.

But hey, after the election the $ will skyrocket, and the Shearwater prices will tumble.
