If wanting to remain on OC, I would suggest a small twin set over a larger single tank.
For example, even something like a set of twin 7L 232bar will be much more stable/thinner profile in the water than a single 15L 232bar. Plus you will have redundancy.
I always start someone wanting to try twinset on a set of twin 7L, and all of them loved it.
Again, I would stay away from 300bar tank since you don't get the same volume as same volume smaller twinset due to gas compressibility.
As far as SCR/CCR choice, if you have any plan to go a little deeper than specified 30-35m range, the CCR will be more adaptable since all you have to do is changing the diluent to trimix from air.
In the meantime, topping off the CCR tanks (air, O2) will be more straight forward, and you could even do it yourself with a transfer whip. Topping off Nitrox will need re-blending.
IMHO, the Sport-KISS is a beautiful unit for your diving range since it is lightweight, small profile, easy to transport, easy to dive and maintain and ready for deeper dives when you want.
