I am using hose clamps to attach them weights on top of my inverted tanks and depending of fresh or salt water as well as choice of thermal protection I may change the weights. When traveling I just take the hose clamps with me and borrow some weights. Works well.

In sidemount cave diving I attach weights directly to the shoulder harness. Just be carefull when you put the unit on or play around with it to make sure you don't knock yourself out cold ...
