Hi
If you are wanting to dive lower than 50M as your post seems to surgest and you are concerned about insurance, then you need to look at another rebreather, as the depth and so the training are set by the manufacturer.
The first choice would be the classic kiss, as the controls/monitoring are the same.
I know of sport kiss divers, who have done their mod2 on their sport, then borrowed a classic to get the mod3, but then if you dive below the manufacturers max depth, on your sport then you are effectively on your own as regards insurance .
