If you use an independent cell-integrated back-upcomputer, how well do they keep the setpoint?
I know that you are asking the Meg divers, but since I am 1 of 2 test divers for the KISS-Shearwater, I will volunteer some information as well...

I am EXTEMELY happy with the software!

The set-point was kept quite nice eventhough the KISS is notoriously difficult unit for ECCR to maintain set-point. Some feed-backs were given to Bruce so the next version should be even better.

But the important part (for me personally) was how close the deco profile was to the tables...

Since we dive practically the same wrecks weeks in and weeks out, I know the deco profiles very well. And the ShearW was able to match it to the minute on the few trimix dives I had with it.

The drawback of the system is the bulk/weight of the KISS controller since everything was inside, plus the housing was made with a very heavy material.

Bruce is working on repackaging the set-up and I hope he will have time to offer something for the Sport-KISS soon since it would be such an easy adaptation/connection.
