I second the nomination for the Haskel Booster.... They may be a bit more expensive, but they seem to have fewer overall problems than the other models offered. I haven't had a whisper of a problem with mine and have run it off compressed air from storage banks as well as a small shop compressor.
Runs better off the banks of course, but the compressor does the job too, just a little slower.
