When I had my Meg Armor coated with LineX, one issue they told me at the shop is that edges can be tuff to handle. You don't want the LineX to come to an edge. In this case, that would be the top edge of the can. To help prevent it from peeling, you'd want to backoff a tenth or two from the edge so it doesn't have help in peeling.
