Any ieda how it holds up under salt water?

I saw Corey's can and the edge started chipping, he added another hose clamp to secure and hasn't had issues... Just wondering if there is a possibility of salt getting stuck in between leading to future corrosion type issues...

The shrinkage of Aluminum due to temp is well known. ie, it can shrink and the plastic will shrink at a different rate. So, it has a chance of lifting. Best thing is to rough it up so the plastic has something to bite into. That's why I removed the anodizing on mine.

Sorry, I can't guarantee it will last forever in saltwater. But, I can't due that to the regular meg either. I know a lot of people have scratched a lot of the coating off there megs and they don't have any issues.

I dive mostly Fresh water and have had no problems with it lifting or with shrinkage.

Think I dove with you before. Were you ever on the Enterprise out of Waukegan?
