I use APD scrims top and bottom (mesh, scrim, sofnolime, scrim, mesh). I only did a couple of dives without so I can't comment on WOB. I don't get any dust in the head at all. When disinfecting I wipe the inside of the head but never noticed anything.

There is a small build up of limescale on the inside of the grey tube but I don't clean it with any abrasive, not even a dish scrubber. About once per year it gets a quick squirt of descaler and rinse immediately with lots of hot water. Fewer places for bacteria to live.
