Just in my very humble opinion but I would do the following with a Paragon Reg.
1. Collect all parts together.
2. Throw all parts into bin.
3. Go to LDS and buy ANY other reg (it will be better)
4. Open beer & Relax.
If you aren't planning to use it for a BOV then maybe you have a reason for dicing with death, if you intend to use it in emergancies (As a BOV) you are wasting your time, IMO.
I serviced mine, got it working again 2 or 3 times and it just failed again, my LDS where very negative about the reg, in the end it ceased up and couldn't be dissasembled so I slam dunked it with delight and went another direction.
