thanks for your responces. i have removed the T-bar, though i think is a good piece of kit, if you have your tanks the old fashioned way (valves at the bottom). now that i have turned my tanks upright, i i have removed it. i dont think you could get caught anywhere, on the contrary, it could serve as a way to control hoses going over the harness.

regarding the clamp, Gilles. i know and thank you very much for pointing this out to me. you are right on that one, but i am using the Pelagian Bov. its different from the traditional ISC DSV. on the ISC DSV that valves come apart very easily, while on the pelagian BOV they are inserted and need some force to remove them. i have tried but i dont' think they would come out.
