Not had time to read every reply so, sorry if I repeat earlier comments.
I dive with a Jetsam KISS BOV and one real advantage I see that I don't hear talked about much over a standard DSV is that you can get a breath off it at any time. So if your on the surface and it gets rough, you can stick it in your mouth and breath, no lever movement or twisting needed. Once you've got that breath you've bought time to switch to CCR.
Great if your taking your unit off to get into a RIB, or if you were to slip and fall in. |
