jeanmi, if I use a bov, it is the OC stage, mounted on the right side of my panorama FFM, so I can nose breath if I want
in a few months, i will perhaps use my own OC/BOV :-)
it is never mounted on the internal, but on a side mounted
only using it now on one tank, but will put QC6 on so I can switch
as you see, I mostly dive withouth BOV at the moment

Hi paul
the trouble with the bov is that is a diver under co2 hit is just able to breathe and breathe at high rate , do you think he will be able to switch the CQ's ?
I remember 9 years ago , I was diving scr with 3 gases, even without any problem is was a pain in the neck to find the hoses to disconnect the bottom gas and connect the travel etc....think a little bit if you are out of breathless...
for me either the bov is connected to all the bail out tanks so that the diver can change gasses very easily, or it is useless for co2 hits.
and if we have to connect the bov to the dil, the travel and the deco the Rebreather will look like a spaghetti plate, and one won't be able to pass his stag to a buddy in case it is necessary...
bov is a new fashion.
