I didn't score the barrel, I just put as many as I could fit along the length of the spiggot without getting in the way of the locking screw (2 each side), a good slap of silicon lube and it all seals up nicely, but with a tiny bit of give in case it takes a knock again. I've no idea what size they are, I just found some that fitted from my "big-bag of random o-rings" |
