I would certainly not steer you away from the Meg. It's a great unit in either the copis or eCCR configuration.

However, the hammerhead eCCR shouldn't be considered "new" IMO. The basic head/electronics package has been out there for quite awhile and you can read alot about support and performance in other threads. The stability of the manufacturer should only have increased recently with the Defense contract award. If you really like the eCCR HH, I would discount the "new" problem a bit.
