As a equipment manufacturer its always interesting to note peoples
impressions of moulded against machined parts
Show someone a part thats moulded and they often
feel it weak and 'toy-like' whereas show someone something machined with its angular profile and sharper un-refined edges and surfaces and they
feel its more robust.
Its not always the case.
An AL can on a Rebreather is not justifiable from a strength requirement viewpoint - its a
drastic overkill which you pay for in shipping weight.

That build quality is a fact. Inspo seems to be made cheap compared to the Meg. But then how many people have actually broken parts of the Inspo (maybe a few cracked handsets)?
I am only saying that it seems to be able to take a lot of banging considering the looks

There yah go!
If Im ever hit in the back by a 5000kg whale whilst wearing a Meg It will be gratifying that the scrubber will likely survive the impact that severed my spine and shattered my rib cage
