Removing Corrosion from Fisher connector and VR3 Due to an outstanding lack of common sense on my part I have managed to get some sea water in my Fisher connector.
Consequently I have verdigree on the contacts and on the connector on the VR3.
I know I can remove them with white vinegar but how long does it take? For example, I didn't want to leave the lead and connector on the VR3 submerged over night to find it damaged in the morning.
I'm using normal white pickling vinegar from the supermarket, I take it I have to dilute this 1:10?
Thanks, |
